Numerical Methods for the Schrodinger Equation Notebook
In this project, we explored numerical solutions to the 1D Schrodinger Equation. The vast majority of the content of this project is in the notebook, so I encourage you to check it out.
One intresting note, is that the approach for the arbitrary potential of the Time Dependent Schrodinger equation scales to higher dimensions very cleaning by just using the higher dimensional Fourier Transform (seperate integral for each direction). However, maintaining numerical stability in this case will usually require the use of Strang Splitting, named after the well known Gilbert Strang, who has a fantastic online course in Linear Algebra which I highly recommend to anyone intrested!
